Dear Parents/Guardians-


The 6th grade class will be visiting the Robert Crown Center for Health Education in Hinsdale, IL on Monday Nov. 24th , 2008.  The trip will be chaperoned by Mrs. Enders, P.E. Teacher, Mrs. hill, School Social Worker, and the three 6th grade teachers. The boys and girls will  be separated during the Human Growth and Development program.  This program will discuss students entering adolescence, understanding the physical changes that occur during puberty and the male and female reproductive systems.  If you have any questions feel free to call or email Mrs. Enders or Mr. Felton for more information.  The program fee is $7.00.  We would prefer checks if possible.  Please make them payable to Somonauk Middle School.

We will be eating lunch at Culvers in Yorkville after the program.  Students will need money for their lunch.  Students will need the $7.00 and the signed permission slip by Monday Nov. 10th .  Students will not need money for lunch until the day of the trip..  We will be leaving SMS at 8:20 am and returning to the school at approximately 2:00pm.
