1. Loss of a card: warning
2. Loss of a second card: miss ten minutes of recess or a ten minute time-out
3. Loss of a third card: miss any remaining recess time and a note or phone call home
4. Loss of a fourth card: a visit to the principal to talk about the day's events

3. Reward of some type
