Help your child prepare for these tests throughout the week.   Ask your child to bring home the Geography questions daily.

Ask your child about the Spelling skill for the week. The words usually follow a pattern.

Tell your child to bring home the spelling list early in the week. Study a few words every night so Thursday nights are not so overwhelming.

To prepare for the reading test, please read the weekly story with your child. Then ask them questions about the story. Discuss the characters, the plot, and the skills they have talked about in class . Also the last 5 questions are vocabulary. These are the same words that are on the weekly vocabulary list.

Ask your child to bring home the grammar sentences for the week (DOL). The skills that are on the page are the same skills that will be tested.
