Discipline Plan
In fourth grade there are four basic classroom rules.
Classroom Rules:
Use Self Control
Raise hand before talking.
Stay in your seat at appropriate times.
Keep body and objects to self.

Show Respect
Be respectful to yourself, others, and property.
Use appropriate language.

Show Responsibility
Be prepared for class.
Have all materials ready for class.

Be Cooperative
Work together with others as a team.

Following these four basic rules can help the class to earn special rewards! The class will set goals for positive behavior. Examples could include free time, popcorn, movie, game day, etc.

If a rule is not followed, the fourth graders will have consequences.
Consequences:
Verbal Warning
Name on the board

First Offense
  • Pull GREEN card
  • Do "think sheet"
  • Miss recess
Second Offense
  • Pull YELLOW card
  • Continue think sheet
  • See Principal
Third Offense
  • Pull RED card
  • Call home
  • DETENTION
Rewards:
Teachers reserve the right, are not limited to, praising their students through a pat on the back, popcorn parties, treats, candy, etc.
