Jump Rope for Heart

February 2008
This year JRFH was
held on February 12th, 13th, and 14th depending
on what day your child had PE class.
They did a lot of jumping activities as well as talking about the heart
and how to keep it healthy. Our goals
this year was $20,000 as a WOW goal, $15,000 as a regular goal and our school
raised $12, 805. We didn’t reach our goal, but the kids had a
blast. GREAT JOB!

February 2007
This year JRFH was

have a poster contest, the top fundraising class will earn an extra day of PE,
$75 Club (in this club you get to autograph Mr. Moris’s JRFH t-shirt!), and the
top 3 money raisers will receive a ticket to a Chicago Wolves Hockey game.
Our goal this year
is $15,000. We did not reach our goal
this year. We raised $13,249.43!!! That is AWESOME!! GREAT JOB J

WE DID IT
AGAIN!! Mr. Moris had to wear Chicago
Bears clothing J We raised $13,695!
WOW!!!!!!
This year JRFH was
held on February 14th, 15th, & 16th . The students had a great time and enjoyed
all the jumping stations. I can’t
believe that the students broke our previous record and I had to wear Chicago
Bears clothing. Thank you to all that
donated.

This year JRFH was held on February 16th,
17th, & 18th. The students had a wonderful time and
enjoyed all the jumping stations. WE
RAISED $12, 267.00!!!!! I can’t believe
how well the students did this year.

Poster Contest
The winners of the poster contest were: THIRD
PLACE – Kylie Anderson, Cindy Johnson, Tim Standorf, Amy Freeman and Delaney
McGuire. SECOND PLACE – Matthew Zaeske,
Lindsey Young, Kami Bahl, Lauren Zaeske and Kaleigh Bahl. FIRST PLACE – Brianna Ormsby, Sophia
Bellantuono, Jalyn Herren, Sara Gilbert and Jackie Thorp. Congratulations to all of them!!
TOP 3 MONEY RAISERS WERE:
The top 3 money raisers will receive one free
ticket to a Chicago Bulls game on Saturday, April 2nd. Before the game, the kids will be able to go
onto the floor and jump rope and shoot baskets. The top 3 money raisers were: Elizabeth Bowles, Josh Toft and
Nicole Krupp.
EXTRA PE TIME
The class that raises the most money will
receive one extra Physical Education class.
The class will be able to choose what activity they want to play and
we’ll play it. 4A was the class that
raised the most money.
Thank you to all those that are donating and
spending time talking about the importance of fighting heart disease and
stroke.
February 2004
This year JRFH was held on February 18th,
19th, & 20th. The students had a great time and
worked really hard at collecting donations for the AHA. We collected $9,426.87.
We did not reach our goal, but we are helping the fight against heart disease
and stroke.
Poster Contest
The students participated in a poster contest
if they wanted to. They had to design and color a poster about Jump Rope For
Heart and winners were picked from each grade level. The winners are: FIRST
GRADE- 1st place: Kylee Fall, 2nd place: Josh Toft, 3rd
place: Abby Race. SECOND GRADE- 1st place: Lauren Zaeske, 2nd
place: Mallory Pitelka, 3rd place: Dalton Morris. THIRD GRADE- 1st
place: Delaney McGuire & Alex Corriveau, 2nd place: Jacquelyn
Thorp, 3rd place: Sarah Ciesielczyk and FOURTH GRADE- 1st place:
Lauren Brummel, 2nd place: Kendall Herren and 3rd place:
Jamie McDuffie. CONGRATS!!!!!!
TOP 3 MONEY RAISERS WERE:
Stephen Kossak, Zachary Jump and Josh Toft
were the top three money raisers in the school. These three will get a free
ticket to a Chicago Bulls game and be able to jump rope on the Bulls basketball
court before a game. It will be an exciting time and a great way to support
Jump Rope For Heart. GREAT JOB AND THANKS FOR THE HARD WORK!!!
The class that raised the most money and will
receive one extra Physical Education class was 1A. They raised $1091.00 and I
know for a fact that Mrs. Stenzel and 1A will enjoy the extra class time. GREAT
JOB!!!!!

WE DID IT!!!! WE BEAT OUR GOAL OF $10,000.00.
GREAT JOB JRW!!!
This year, 2003, we raised $10,020.00 and
beat our goal of $10,000. The students worked hard in collecting contributions
and had a lot of fun during our event. The students were allowed to wear
sunglasses that day, because "It's Cool to Jump Rope!" Click on the

TOP 3 MONEY RAISERS WERE:
Hunter Hardekopf, Zack Goldsboro, and Alicia
Lenert. These three will be receiving a free ticket to a Chicago Bulls
basketball game on Friday, April 11th. They will be able to go down
to the court and jump rope with other JRFH students. Great Job and thanks!
The class that raised the most money and will
receive an extra PE class was 4C. They raised, as a class, $1,452.98. I know
for sure they will enjoy their extra PE time and so will Mrs. Miller.
